Saw today, don't have the link, I guess Kit Harrington (aka Jon Snow) revealed the fate of his character to get out of a speeding ticket...that is awesome
I find it exceedingly hard to believe that the Dothraki would bow down to Danerys under those circumstances.
Wouldn't the default reaction be "she's a witch who just killed our entire leadership structure, 1) let's kill her; or at the very least 2) mass chaos"
It's well established how the Dothraki feel about magic and it's not to bow down to it- sloppy and lazy writing, says I
the dragons making an appearance would have made it a slightly more believable scenario, but I get it, CGI is expensive
for that matter, the dragons would help out quite a bit whipping those slave masters into line; you know, like what happened in the first place when they were 1/10th the size
speaking of CGI, Ghost should be at Jon's side in every scene you cheap bastards
Starks back in Winterfell, man. After watching it again, I don't have a problem with the ending. Most of the Dothraki would have heard the stories of Daenerys and the birth of Dragons. They have heard she was unburnt during the dragon hatching. Dothraki follow strength above all, and they just saw the former queen of the strongest Kahl in their lives not only walk out of a burning hut where she merked every other Kahl, but alsi watched her literally standing in the fire. That's pretty fucking strong, if not scary.
According to GRRM, her not getting toasted during the dragon birth was a one time thing. She is NOT immune to fire. It's [Mark May] like this that makes me more excited for the next books. The show is so far off of what happens in the books and the differences will only grow now that they don't have the source to butcher.
Besides all that, I really hope Sansa and Jon reunite in the books. Or at least a couple of the Starks get back together eventually.

Regarding the Dothraki, I just think about modern US politics and how much trouble people have processing someone different from themselves being in charge.
I still think the reaction from a solid chunk of the people there would be "fuck this [Mark May], I'm out" at the very least, if not trying to kill her or rioting.
I guess I'm just nitpicking and that would be wasted screen time and it was supposed to be a cool, powerful moment.
Hey guys, why is this room covered in oil?Wait, so that's the part of the scene you had an issue with, and not the fact that the Dothraki built their biggest building out of match heads, flash paper, and gasoline?
