Ohio State is negotiating a one-game deal with Texas Christian that would bring the Horned Frogs to Ohio Stadium in the 2009 season opener.
Ohio State associate athletic director Steve Snapp said no contract has been signed, but it appears TCU will visit on Sept. 5, 2009. That date, and another in 2010, opened last year when Army backed out of a home-and-home deal.

Columbus- Concerned about the strength of Ohio State's nonconference football schedule? Tired of the cracks about Youngstown State? Well, get ready for that to change.
OK, it's just Texas Christian, but it is a step up.
Steve Snapp, Ohio State's associate athletics director who is in charge of OSU's football scheduling, said Saturday that TCU has been added to the 2009 schedule. Although the contract is not yet signed, Snapp said the Horned Frogs will visit Columbus and fill the hole created when Army backed out of a two-game series set for 2009 and 2010.

Army asked to get out of its two-year contract with Ohio State for 2009 and 2010 and the school obliged, spokesman Steve Snapp said Thursday. TCU has agreed to replace Army on a one-year contract in '09. The game will be played in Ohio Stadium. Talks are ongoing with a few schools to fill the space in 2010.
Ohio St., OU to play two-game series
COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) -- Perennial college football powers Ohio State and Oklahoma will begin a two-game series in 2016, the schools announced Tuesday.
The first game of the new series will take place Sept. 17, 2016, in Norman. It will be followed by a Sept. 16, 2017, game at Columbus.

Ohio State, Tennessee to play two

Ohio State and Tennessee will begin a two-game series in football beginning in 2018, the universities announced this morning.
The first game will be Sept. 1, 2018, in Knoxville in the teams' season opener. The Buckeyes and Volunteers will meet again on Sept. 7, 2019, in Columbus.
?Tennessee-Ohio State is a great natural match-up for two tradition-laden schools that are less than 400 miles apart,? OSU associate athletics director Steve Snapp said. ?Playing the Volunteers for the first time during the regular season will be a great series for our fans.?
