QB- 6 5" 235 Beckman Sr.- i honestly think that people are under rating him, now hes had 5 years in the system! and when hes a Sr that will be 6 years in it, with that kind of experience he should be able to run the offense blind folded. And dont try to say his arm strength is to weak because chad pennington and drew bree have some of the weakest arms in the nfl and nothing stopping them.
It's my understanding that Boeckman wasn't able to work with the team while he gray-shirted, so wouldn't that mean he's only had 4 years in the system and will just technically be a 5th year senior in '08?? Other than that, good post, I love the spirit! However, I have to agree with everyone else, this game is going to be one hell of a matchup, I'm thinking it will be bigger than our Texas battles (and thats even too hard to think about it being bigger than those two were!)

THE COLUMBUS DISPATCH

Ohio State has taken one step forward and two steps back when filling out its football schedules.

The Buckeyes recently lost a two-game series with Army scheduled for 2009 and 2010 after the Black Knights pulled out of the deal.
OSU spokesman Steve Snapp, who handles much of the scheduling, said a coaching change probably had something to do with Army's decision. Stan Brock took over for Bobby Ross this past offseason.

Columbus- Concerned about the strength of Ohio State's nonconference football schedule? Tired of the cracks about Youngstown State? Well, get ready for that to change.
OK, it's just Texas Christian, but it is a step up.
Steve Snapp, Ohio State's associate athletics director who is in charge of OSU's football scheduling, said Saturday that TCU has been added to the 2009 schedule. Although the contract is not yet signed, Snapp said the Horned Frogs will visit Columbus and fill the hole created when Army backed out of a two-game series set for 2009 and 2010.

Very nice, TCU is very respectable. Especially on defense. One of the more under-appreciated teams out there in my opinion. Good to see that they're coming to Columbus.

That means TCU, USC, Illinois, and Wisconsin all in Columbus in '09. Should be exciting. :)
