Future Football Schedules (Updated 8/31/2024)

I would really not want to play Miami. I think by 2010 Shannon will make them a powerhouse. You guys are not backing down and I respect that.
It will be a tall order for them to return to the powerhouse they were until 01/03/03. Whether or not OSU fields a defense like that again, they'll certainly field a far better offense than that bowl game.

Too bad we don't play them later in the season, or all of the ohio state alums could fill the half-empty stadium (after they lose an early game).

Don't forget about Va Tech and Oklahoma in the upcoming future as well! We are the only program really putting our BCS chances on the line with scheduling just not good, but GREAT programs. I hope others follow our lead, could you imagine a football weekend like this?

OSU Vs USC
Michigan Vs Auburn
Oklahoma Vs West Virginia
Va Tech Vs Texas

I mean its very unlikely but if we schedule tough teams, and others follow suite then we eventually will have an un-real weekend of college football sooner or later.

Slick Rick says, it looks as though they have made us a really good non-conference schedule in future years. Slick Rick says, these games make you better. Slick Rick says, better competion from the ACC, SEC Pac 10 and so on, will continue to make Slick Rick's Buckeyes a better program. Slick Rick says, it is going to be fun to watch over the next few years.

I'm proud of tOSU for really being the only team to be so ballsy with OOC scheduling. It looks good.

Does anyone else wish we would schedule it even tougher? I could just see a schedule with, say, both USC and UF on it.. that would be the kind of schedule where 2 losses would still get you considered for the national championship.. and an undefeated season would be absolutely amazing.
