Yea that proves everything!!!!!! My whole opinion has changed of him because of that clip.

That clip was there because I couldnt find the "Im not going to be the alabama head coach" clip anywhere else. Fuck him for '98, and fuck him for being a gutless snake.

I have absolutely no problem with OU's Offense...I don't know anyone who does. I've never said they don't have a great O. What I'm saying is, OU isn't unstoppable, they lost. It's also my opinion, that out of the Big12 teams, Texas has the best chance to beat Florida. We've seen great Stoops coached offensive OU teams get into big bowl games...and they choke. Just don't be surprised when it happens again.

Exactly...how is it no one remembers how OU didn't exploit Texas D....go back and look. Texas won that game.

you have no problem with OU's offense, but make the above comment? And the coversation was strictly about OU's ofense when you entered into it.

Haven't seen OU's great QBs and WRs exploit anybody's defense, let alone an excellent defense in a bowl game since Stoops' been there.

Evan - Exactly...how is it no one remembers how OU didn't exploit Texas D....go back and look. Texas won that game.

Me - huh? have you watched any games this year?

fair point about bowl games, but Bradford and co. have been unstoppable this year on "O"....

Evan - Except that game they lost to Texas...that was THIS year. :shake:

Me - 35 points ain't bad.

Oklahoma has an explosive offense, and have great skill players. Demarco Murray and Sam Bradford might be the best QB/RB duo in the nation. And they have playmakers at WR AND TE.

Evan - 35 points ain't bad at all...unless your "defense" gives up 45....hard to win a NC game that way...

Rip OU's offense, and then backtrack and make them a vulnerable team because of the defense??

I understand Texas won, but it wasn't because of OU's offense. Again, no matter who faces OU in a bowl game, they are going to have problems with OU's offense. Assuming it isn't a terrential downpour in the championship game, UF will have huge problems with OU's offensve attack. It's balanced and they have weapons at every skill position.

I like Bama's offense, but John Parker isn't Sam Bradford.

Can OU stop UF from scoring? Probably not, but I like OU's chances of matching UF's scores a lot more than Bama.

CBS is lucky I'm not within 50 miles of Gary Danielson, carrying a loaded weapon, right now. How could Tebow possibly complete a pass with Danielson sucking his dick from the press box? Then, the cameras follow Tebow around on the sidelines whilst the Bible-thumping molester of Filipino children makes a fucking spectacle of himself..."Look at me trying to fire up the team that really shouldn't need any firing up!"

I'm trying hard to think of one instance where the high-powered offense that you favor has gone into a title game and has performed well against a good defense. Maybe SC in '05, but that's really it. And oh by the way, that SC team had Reggie Bush, Lendale White, Matt Lenart and I think also Dwayne Jarrett.

Can you please me name a couple in the BCS era?

UF has a good D, but I don't think they've faced many offenses good enough to exploit their secondary. So that's first point.

But:

Texas gashed USC's defense with a great offense.

Miami gashed Nebraska.

SC against Oklahoma.

UF had zero problems with our defense. They were considered high powered, although no one gave them a chance pre-game..

Those just off the top of my head....

That was Vince Young, the player of the decade going up against a bunch of true freshmen at LBer. I don't think how you can honestly say that SC defense was good.

Nebraska's defense happened to have been exposed by Colorado the game before, If I remember correctly, Colorado dropped 50+ on them.

Oklahoma's defense that year wasn't any good, but their offense was awesome, which is about as close to a comparison as I could find to this year's team. The end result was again, 55-16. Thanks for making my point.
