Florida 31, Alabama 20 (Final)

I wouldn't go betting the place you live that florida will rip oklahoma apart. You might be standing out on the street corners come jan..Nothing in college football is certain..Be sure to talk about mizz's terrible defense..Don't talk about okie is shutting them down. That would be giving a team credit.

I don't care about giving OU, or anyone else, credit. I just think Florida will beat OU handily, as WVU did last year, and all of OU's last five BCS opponents.

So OSU might as well not show up for their bowl this year? I just don't see the logic of comparing teams that no longer exist just because they have the same team name.

congrats (and thanks) Gators!

ow maybe some of the Bama fans will shut their traps (doubtful at best) about never losing another game for the rest of eternity since Saban is a deity, walks on water, and will never die or leave for more money.

Like he tore WVU to pieces last year?

Florida will whup OU in Miami.

Speed kills and Florida's cup is overflowing. WVU was no slouch as far as speed/quickness and OU couldn't keep it close after the first half. Then again Florida's secondary hasn't been tested like OU will do. This actually might be an interesting matchup (hopefully).

Bama versus utah in the sugar..I can't imagine utah's oline during this game.

worst part of losing the SEC Championship game?

Getting the BCS buster.

It really does suck to have a great year like Bama', and then get stuck with Utah as a bowl game. Not. Much. Fun.

you have no problem with OU's offense, but make the above comment? And the coversation was strictly about OU's ofense when you entered into it.

Rip OU's offense, and then backtrack and make them a vulnerable team because of the defense??

I understand Texas won, but it wasn't because of OU's offense. Again, no matter who faces OU in a bowl game, they are going to have problems with OU's offense. Assuming it isn't a terrential downpour in the championship game, UF will have huge problems with OU's offensve attack. It's balanced and they have weapons at every skill position.

I like Bama's offense, but John Parker isn't Sam Bradford.

Can OU stop UF from scoring? Probably not, but I like OU's chances of matching UF's scores a lot more than Bama.

Look man, this isn't rocket science. I didn't rip OU's offense, I said they didn't expose Texas D. That isn't a rip on OU's offense. If an amazing offense normally scores 60 and you hold them to 35, your D, while not perfect, didn't get EXPOSED. You were talking up OU's offense like they couldn't be stopped. Look at the breakdown of drives. If Texas scored 45 and OU scored 35, Texas had to have stopped an OU drive short at least once, because they scored one more touchdown (and one more field goal) than OU.

It was a neutral field, the weather was great, and yet OU scored fewer points than the team they were playing. Texas didn't get an extra possesion, they STOPPED the OU offense, and scored 10 more points than OU.

Again:
1. I did not rip the OU offense, I said they didn't expose Texas D.
2. I did also point out that OU is vulnerable because of their very suspect D
3. Please note that neither of the first two points are mutually exclusive, and both points can be made without back peddling or contridicting each other.

You are falling into the ESPN trap. A sexy offense always catches peoples eyes, and next thing you know you're talking about how USC is the greatest team ever...except they aren't. An "unstopable" offense doesn't win NC's...a balanced team with a very good defense does.

With the Georgia-Hawaii game from last year in mind, I think I'll do something other than watch this game. Boring.
