The #1 team gets 9.5 points on a neutral field.

Apparently Vegas is more impressed by the 'eye test' than by that one win that Florida has over teams currently ranked in the top-25 of the AP, Harris and/or Coaches polls.

#17/#19/#20 Georgia is the only one of their victims in a major human poll's top-25.
 
I didn't want to disappoint you so here I am:biggrin2: the #1 team is getting 9.5 points against a team that you have ranked #4. You really need to call Vegas to make sure that line is correct.:wink2: I thought it would at least be below 7:(. I will have to give this a little thought with 9.5.

For Alabama to win they would have to play great defense without being said, but they would also have to establish the running game. Their QB is simply not good enough to carry this team. It almost reminds me of the Auburn team a couple of years ago with that great defense but very mediocre QB.

Okay here is the biggest bullshit ever. I don't know if this belongs in this thread or not, but ESPN did a lead in to Florida vs. Alabama just now on SportsCenter. They put a picture of Jim Tressel in the background, and spoke of Tressel giving out a DVD to get his players fired up last year for the NCG, and how it didn't work. Then it went into the Florida/Alabama game and said that Saben can just point to the 10.5 point spread, and could find something to fire up his team. It was just like a random knock on Ohio State. Out of nowhere. Didn't belong. Made no sense. Just felt like talking shit about Ohio State, so they did. It was like, oh by the way, Ohio State was a huge underdog last year and lost. WTF?

When I sit back and think about their behavior, my guess is that ESPN is motivated by audience research that is unfavorable to Ohio State.

I really don't understand why people watch ESPN and then comment on what is said. It's not journalism folks, it's "sports entertainment", and their goal is to put eyeballs on screens and internet sites, nothing else. There is no truth in what they say, nor is it promised. They want to get emotional reaction and eyeballs.

Want to change their behavior? Watch something else.

It was on after MNF. I was too lazy to change the channel and wasn't paying attention. But when I heard them lead with "Jim Tressel"...I was like...OH SHIT, WHAT HAPPENED?!? And then they give that fucked up lead in, and i'm like...blah puke blah. Oh and I still haven't changed the channel, becaue the remote is on the other side of the room from the computer, and I don't feel like getting up cuz I am REALLY REALLY REALLY lazy. I am so fucking lazy. It's terrible. Sometimes i'm too lazy to piss, and just hold it in until I can't go anymore. Too lazy to eat. I need a woman to make me food and fetch me beer. Anybody know of any good women that do that sort of thing anymore?

No. They've all become carreer oriented. Now women hate men. It's sad. Best_Buckeye could tell you some stories about the good old days tho, back when you just picked your woman, clubbed her over the head, and dragged her by the hair back to the cave.

Is it just me, or if a 6 is a GREAT cook, and loves to cook, and love to clean, and loves to take care of kids, and loves to get me beer...then she becomes a 9. Would make a 3 a 6...and a 7 and 10. It wouldn't make an 8 or a 9 or a 10 anything, because 8s, 9s, and 10s, don't do any of those things. They are what I like to call, bitches.
