Even in your prime, I'd have drank you under the table on your best night. I drink Natty and Bud Light.

rocketman...what can I say? I'm disappointed at your lack of respect for Natty. :shake:

Although I'm sure we appreciate the effort, if you're going to post doctored photos, at least have doctored tOSU chicks. :shake:

You remind me of Taosman more and more each day.

Go Bucks! Beat Texas!

And you remind me of this guy....

A will never complain about a night spent drinking Shiner Bock. But this is one of my true loves in life:

God bless Lone Star beer. And at $14 for a case it's almost as cheap as Natty.

LONGHORNS FOOTBALL
Will Horns keep up their running ways against Buckeyes?

By Suzanne Halliburton
AMERICAN-STATESMAN STAFF
Thursday, December 25, 2008
Texas coach Mack Brown and his offensive assistants are trying to figure out exactly what to think of this season's rushing attack.
It's certainly not dominant. But neither is it anemic.
"We don't have that featured back," Brown mused as his team prepared for its Fiesta Bowl matchup against Ohio State. "We don't have a featured back. We have four really good ones. Those backs are productive in our system. They're just not Ricky Williams. We're spoiled."
At times, the Longhorns' rushing cadre has been excellent. See the fourth quarter of the 45-35 victory over Oklahoma. Or go back to parts of the Texas A&M game.
The running backs have yet to lose a fumble. They've caught 61 passes, led by Chris Ogbonnaya's 42. One catch in the Fiesta will allow him to break the school single-season record for catches by a running back.
Other times, Longhorns runners have been less than reliable.
They were at their worst in a 39-33 loss at Texas Tech, Texas' lone loss of the season. The Longhorns, in desperate need for a clock-churning ground game, gained only 80 yards. Their first play from scrimmage resulted in a safety, and it was the first time in 16 Saturdays that the rushing offense didn't crack triple digits.
"We always judge ourselves by how well we've played in really tough ball games," said offensive coordinator Greg Davis. "How'd we run against Oklahoma? The answer is pretty good. How'd we run against Texas Tech, the answer is pretty bad."
So call the running game for 2008 a median.

According to Rivals this is what the Bucks and Horns are getting in their Fiesta Bowl "gift" baskets.

FIESTA
Ohio State-Texas, Jan. 5 in Glendale, Ariz.
The gear:
MyVu Personal Media Viewer
iPod Nano
Watch
Snack pack
Game hat
The verdict: The MyVu viewer lets users watch video from their iPods in a pair of sunglasses. The Longhorns won't know whether to laugh or cry when it's preloaded with highlights from this year's Red River Shootout.

Boeckman, Pryor may play at same time

THE COLUMBUS DISPATCH

No matter what, the Fiesta Bowl will be the Ohio State swan song for senior quarterback Todd Boeckman, and sources close to the program told The Dispatch that coach Jim Tressel might have a duet in mind for the former starter.

They said don't be surprised to see Boeckman and freshman starter Terrelle Pryor on the field at the same time for some plays when the Buckeyes take on the Texas Longhorns.

When Tressel opens up the playbook for a bowl game, it usually involves putting the spotlight on an otherwise unknown role-player. For bowl games not played in 2007 and 2008, Tressel is usually pretty loose and the defense usually plays at or above the level they've played at all year. Who knows, maybe with less on the line than in the past two years, we see that "Jimmy T. rollin' the dice" mentality break out again.

Its neat being able to play Texas in a bowl after recently sharing a series early in the regular season. With the bowl break and the game being at the end of the season and all, who knows how both teams come out playing.
