Field conditions at Ohio Stadium

Having gray trim around the white letters doesn't really constitute having gray in the color scheme...

i dunno it has gray in it so i would think in that since it will contribute as long as the gray trim is bold enough. all gray letters would be too dull and less distinct and gray will still be on the field. i just look at it more along the lines of gray letters with white infill to make it more noticable but thats just me. now if they don't put the gray trim around the letters then i will agree.

as a senseless bit of info there is 107-4000 lb pallets of silica sand on the west side of the stadium. also i am no field expert but i was surprised at how fine the rubber is that they are laying down is. on other fields the rubber was more shredded up and chunkier but they had an open pallet laying outside the stadium so i checked it out and the rubber they are laying down is very close to course sand in size. its spongy as hell but i believe it was previously mentioned how it might get into the shoes of the players which i could believe as small and light it is.

hard telling what the letters really look like from the cam plus its overcast outside. hate to do it but i might have to sneak into the stadium and check it out firsthand upclose to make an accurate decision on how the letters look. the good news is there is gray outlining the white......how much gray is hard to tell yet.

i would if i had a digi cam but i don't as of yet. i have a disposable camera i think back at the house but it would take time to develop and by then you would already have probably real pictures from some sort of media resource. at the same time i might not go tonight since i won't be out of class until 8:30 and it will be getting somewhat dark by then.....maybe tomorrow. better yet i might be able to sneak into one of the ohio union offices and get a peak in some way.........hmmmmm how interesting.
