David Cross.

One reason to watch any of NBC's sitcoms is because Cross, Odenkirk, and other former cast members from Mister Show with Bob & David could show up at any time. These guys singlehandedly got shows like Just Shoot Me and Newsradio two extra seasons apiece.

He's also great as Stephen Colbert's nemesis, Russ Lieber:

Have you seen their movie Run, Ronnie Run? I think it is one of the funniest movies of all-time. I guess most fans of Mister Show hate it. Odenkirk has a long article on their website about why it sucks. LINK I still think it is totally brilliant. Maybe because I didn't have HBO when Mister Show was on.

Mr. Show is one of my all time favorite shows. I have all of them on DVD and whenever I put them on for someone who is unfamiliar they laugh their ass off. Cross does some good standup as well. Agreed they bring some unique characters to some sitcoms as well.

Taint Magazine - one of the all time skits.

LMAO at the music at the end. Anyone know why Mr. Show was only on for 4 years?

This is my favorite sketch, "The Recruiters".

I am pretty sure that the entire time they were with HBO they had significant difference of opinions on just about everything which caused the show to end.

FYI they still have a website, and you can buy Titannica T-shirts on there. Pretty sweet.

I completely forgot one of my favorite comedians from when I was younger: Steve Oedekerk! He opened one routine with a bit that kept repeating his name and showing his face, so that the audience would never forget his name--and I never will!

His 1960 comedy album, The Button Down Mind of Bob Newhart, went straight to number one on the charts...

This is unreal. I walk in from work tonight, and this very CD is sitting on the kitchen counter. I think it was a gift from my younger brother years ago. Will have to give it a listen. Again. I think.
