The thing people need to realize is that the people who aren't happy about something are usually the most vocal.

If you purchase something and like it do you write or call the company NO, If you don't you are more apt to send a Complaint. Same Concept here in My opinion

There is no way everyone will always be happy and more work goes into appeasing the disgruntled than sharing praises for a job well done

Ok now why is it that every Texas fan I have talked to, or heard from since the game, have had nothing but good things to say about Columbus, the game, the fans, the team, etc.....

I am gonna say that we got 24 complaints from a bunch of pussies who complain about the crowd at their home games also.

I'm sick of hearing about it so I am not going to add anything constructive to the topic...Fuck Holbrook and the 24 or whatever Texas fans who complained and Fuck all the OSU fans who were assholes and Fuck all the Texas fans who were assholes...Fuck them all...ok I feel better now

I just want to know what type of people actually take the time to write a university because they felt they were treated rudely by the fans of its sports teams? Even if you met the few idiots in a crowd of thousands, what would lead you to believe the administration of the university is responsible for them?

The only thing I can think of being more idiotic would be actually responding to them? Go figure.... :shake:

In other news, Karen Holbrook apologized to the every member of the Texas Longhorns football team who was tackled during the game, stating "Our mission as a university is to educate our students into becoming kind, loving and gentle souls. We deeply regret that some members of our school's football team chose an inappropriate moment to express such uncalled for and unacceptable violence and aggression. On behalf of The Ohio State University, I would also like to direct an apology to Texas quarterback Vincent Young, who I understand was struck so hard that his team was forced to call a timeout while he regained his senses. Thankfully, he did so in time to throw the winning touchdown pass, but the behavior of our players was inexcuseable, and nearly prevented what turned out to be a glorious moment for the Texas football team. Rest assured that I personally will take all actions necessary to eliminate this sort of thing in the future, unless the university trustees come to their senses and fire my loony ass first."

Again, I was on campus from 4am Saturday until 2am Sunday and not once did I witness anything even remotely rude or classless.

Dumb? yeah. like the idiot that kept playing the "Private Cowboy" scene from Full Metal Jacket over and over and over.

Redundant? sure. I'll bet no Texas fan has ever heard "Cook 'Em" or "Only two things come from Texas" (see above FMJ reference) before.

Odd? Yup. Like my coworker who kept calling Texas fans "Texicans" all day. Yet something else ripped from a movie.

Stupid? Like the group of guys wearing Ohio State jerseys yelling "Boomer Sooner" at every passing Horn fan. After the '77 game, anyone yelling Boomer Sooner in Columbus should be shot.

Not once did I see anything rude or openly hostile towards a Texas fan. And we had a lot of RV's of Texas fans in my lot. A very good showing by them I might add, considering gas prices and all.

If any of our regular members (HL, Xray, texasfight06...) were mistreated, I'd like to know about it. Especially if it was in my lot.
