ESPN (A bunch of Death-Spiraling maroons)

Western Carolina coach rips Herbstreit, calls him a silver spoon fed primadonna who never had a bruise or callus.

Roll Tide! SEC!
With the way this guy goes on about Alabama - the State and School - you'd think he played there or at least born there.
All I got out of this was "Don't criticize the great Juggernaut 'Bama, the great State of Alabama, or Nick Saban - who said something nice about me last week"

I'll just drop this here...

Disclaimer: i realize we're 3pt dogs coming in, but hard to sell the idea of a higher ranked team (incl. ESPN's own in-house thing) winning in a blowout on a neutral field is an 'upset'
At the end of the 3rd 45-0 they've apparently removed the upset tag

Apologies for the source from TSUN, but

ESPN analyst Ed Cunningham says Michigan State was the best team this year.
"If you take three quarters out of that season – and those are big quarters, right? – fourth quarter against Oregon, two quarters, the second half against Ohio State, I thought through and through, offensively they're so much more dynamic than people think they are. They run the spread 30-40% of the time, which is something you'd never think of at Michigan State. I think they've grown.
"To me, that's a program, if every year you had to pick a team that could win a championship, I'd bet on them. But for me, saw them twice so I got to study them a bunch, other than those three quarters, the best team I saw."
(emphasis mine)

Shoulda...coulda...woulda. If OSU could rewind and replay 4 quarters with VT at the end of the season.... That's why they play the game on the field not on paper. Ed's probably got a family to feed so he had to write something.
I like Dantonio and all but c'mon. GO BUCKS!!!
