No, automatically assuming that just because someone is a graduate of a top-tier university and receives a large-bucks salary he/she can't be an idiot is what's evidence of a lack of perspective.

Next thing you know, we'll have to quit saying "[censored] Michigan." Feel free to leave any time...

Nice straw man. I'm not saying you can't have some fun with your rival but this goes well beyond that...but you already knew that.

It's a college football chat site, not an on-line theological discussion. Most of those you mentioned in your own strawman have indeed at one time or another done and/or said something which justifies the response given by many here. It's not "hating", but rather an opposing reaction to what the individuals have done/said. But, go ahead and continue to pigeon-hole statements that disagree with, or don't support, someone as "hating"...

ESPiN matched NBC Sports offer to the Big East and kept the league for $20 million per year. In other words, Ohio State could have bought the Big East media rights with what it gets from TV annually.

Also, John Skipper of ESPiN says the network is doing as much NHL highlights and analysis as it did when they owned the media rights. I highly doubt that (but don't watch SportsCenter, so I might be wrong).

Listen, just because some guy says something you don't agree with doesnt make him an idiot or a jerk or a cheater. Yet that is a typical reaction. It definitely is "hating" whether you want acknowledge it or not.

Sounds to me like you are just hating on the haters.

Hater. :shake:

I don't at all listen to his show (or anything ESPN Radio, even WBNS), but Cowherd actually said people don't show up to Indiana Pacer games because they're racist?

http://www.usatoday.com/story/sport...iana-racism-attendance-colin-cowherd/1934739/

I really doubt he has any data that backs that up.

Scott Van Pelt plays it pretty straight, the three times I listened to his show in the past, but it seems like Mike & Mike are soft interviewers (morning zoo-ish) and Cowherd is a troll.

Let's not forget where the Ku Klux Klan and the American Nazi Party had their headquarters until the late 1970s: Indianapolis.

Are you implying they set up HQ in the most racist area?

Well, they didn't set up there because it was a hostile environment. The second Klan achieved its greatest political influence in Indiana.

Here's a 1920s march in Indianapolis:

To this day, the KKK has one of its largest and most active memberships in Indiana.
