ESPN (A bunch of Death-Spiraling maroons)

Setting aside the disdain Buckeye fans are "supposed to have" relative to ESPN, the August coverage of fall camps nationwide on ESPNU has been entertaining and informative. As usual, you need to learn to ignore much of the "analysis," but there's a lot of fun stuff being broadcast this summer about college football.

I'm getting pumped for this season! GO BUCKS!

I've been absolutely blown away with the production of the Training Days series. A+++, in my IMO

I actually like their baseball coverage too, their booths are pretty good...and I liked a lot of the 30 for 30s. If they covered more actual sports and live events, and maybe historical type shows, instead of having braindead highlight shows 10x a day and fat-assed bug-eyed worm-ridden has-been sacks of spank analyzing college and pro football all day, every day (with a few exceptions, like Spiels and Ditka), they wouldn't be half bad.

You can't not laugh that the kid who threw the no-hitter in the LLWS told Dan Patrick on his radio show that he put "The Dan Patrick Show" as his favorite show on his questionaire and ESPN said it was "SportsCenter".

Interesting, the 2012 SEC East favorite lost to a 2nd tier BigTen team less than 9 months ago. How can that be ?

SEC East is a 2nd tier just like everyone else. Sorry, BigWoof, I pull for UGA but it is how I see it. But as long as the East teams don't stand up to Slive about the shit that happens in the West regarding recruiting you're going to be at a competitive disadvantage. UF won theirs as Saban, Petrino and Miles were all getting going on the tactics that UGA and UF won't use.

So therein lies the issue. Does UGA/UF stand up for what is right, but in the process potentially destory the SEC's stranglehold on winning the BCSNCG?
