ESPN doing what they do best, make amazing commercials.
It's good to see they're not hiding the fact John Clayton has a ponytail anymore.

I believe ESPiN is trying to shatter their own record with how many times they say SEC in a week. Even by their standards this is ridiculous.-_-

I like how the Most Popular teams from NY Times turns into the $EC is Amazing.

Bama is amazing. LSU is amazing.......the rest of the conference is just another conference full of mediocre to shitty teams. Remember the Big 2 - Little 8?

ESPN sent out the memo to mention lackluster crowd noise at Ohio State yesterday. The booth must have talked about it at least twenty times and the sideline reporter even asked O'Leary about is heading into halftime.

To his credit, Galloway called out the lady in the booth about crowd noise when the home team is on offense. Still, Galloway still had to get in the talking point about how Meyer is trying to create an "SEC-like" team in Columbus. It's sad the things you have to do to keep a job at ESPN.

Ridiculous, annoying, and blatantly biased. $4 billion.

I would think that people would appreciate ESPN's cleverly misleading all the opposing coaches into complacently thinking the 'Shoe is a somnolent, benign arena. But I guess the desire to feel disrespected is strong.

Please... It's simply annoying to watch a broadcast and hear them yammer on throughout the game about the lack of noise. ESPN was trying hard to stir up something. Truthfully, the game wasn't exactly a barnburner and UCF is not a glamour program.

I'm sure opposing coaches are watching ESPN telecasts for information. Because it is so insightful. But it must be exhausting being a member of the :

If I worked with you and everyday I told our boss you were stupid and weak, I'm sure you'd have no problem with it. After all, it would only make it that much easier to exceed expectations!

I think it highly likely that what we heard was two inexperienced broadcasters fall back on their bulleted talking points far too frequently in fear of being responsible for dead air. That being said, I wouldn't put it past an E!SPN producer to prod them to that particular talking point in an attempt to balance out the two graphics showing tOSU's massive popularity. I mean...ESPN are the ones that sell t-shirts saying "Football is better in the south". I don't really have to search too hard for the disrespect on that one.

Eh. I say let the world think that The Horseshoe is a quiet place where the faithful aren't passionate about their team and "sit on their hands", despite the fact that it is false. Whether the other team is expecting a quiet stadium or not, they're in for a world of hurt when the come to Columbus.

Mentioning that O'Leary thinks the stadium isn't loud is one thing. Mentioning how quiet the stadium is EVERY TIME THE STADIUM IS QUIET is another.

During every dead air opportunity it was either "the stadium is quiet" or something about the SEC. I'm pretty sure Joey Galloway managed to mention the SEC every time a defensive lineman made a play because their d-lines have been just so darn good ever since Bear Bryant invented football, grass, and fedoras.

I wouldn't give a shit...but if ESPN can convince the world...well future recruits would be included.

What's shitty is that they showed the NY Times graphic saying tOSU was the most poular team in America and the other one stating tOSU has the biggest fan base, then spent the entire game basically saying that despite having the largest fan base and being most popular, the fans that pay to see the games are shitty fans.
