Most will. I won’t. My eyes show me his desire and unwillingness to adjust to what it will take to win The Game will never change. He isn’t beating that team up north again. Not with this style and mindset. CJ saying this game doesn’t define his career or this team is a snapshot of what the mindset is inside the Woody under Day’s leadership. He is not the guy.

Same could’ve been said about Urban and his stubborn and lackluster offense! His offense calls single-handedly cost us a repeat NC in 2015, and now fans want Urban back. Fans are fickle,and have short memories. I remember Urban having superior teams, and yes it feel god awful getting bent over by scUM, but it felt worse getting curb stomped by VASTLY inferior Purdue and Iowa teams. And barely beating Maryland.
And firing Day won’t all of the sudden make OSU better.

I haven’t forgotten Urban’s shortcomings and sitting in the rain at the Shoe on a cold November night as he refused to run Zeke in a loss to MSU. I also haven’t forgotten seeing Woody hung in effigy on High Street after a tie with Baylor or Earle going 9-3 year after year. Least of all I haven’t forgotten Cooper going 2-13-1 against Michigan.

While I haven’t said Day needs to go (yet), I’m certainly not going to forget yesterday’s curb stomping, when leading at halftime, and watching the team QUIT! I don’t ever recall watching a Buckeye team quit against TTUN. No, that memory will live with me year in and year out when it’s GAME week.

100% agree with the last sentence, but I just have to ask about the rest.

You felt worse after losing to Purdue/Iowa than yesterday? That’s intriguing to say the least. Personally, I’m completely tilted and don’t mind admitting it. I’m all in with unsuited 2/7 on the next hand kind of tilted. Last time I was this tilted, Tom Brady was on the other sideline.

I've seen a Urban Meyer coached team give up to Clemson, a team who was a thorn in our side until day beat them. Clemson pitched a shut out against OSU, Urban also got out coached by Dantonio in the B1G championship in 2013 that I attended. And memory gas waned on him and he's looked at as a savior. Tressel was embarrassed by UF in the NC in 2006 by Urban where Urban could've hung 100 on OSU.

Again, fans will be very emotional after a big rivalry loss and I don't blame them. But every coach has had his warts. But how they respond is even more important than the loss. It's funny/ironic how Hairball was mocked for years for not being able to beat OSU, and now he's a coaching genius, and Day is the inferior coach who needs to be fired. Their fickle fans now worship him. And I'm sure many of their fans would "never" forget getting 60+pts hung on them, or winning twice in 10yrs. Day needs to make changes, and answer some hard questions.

I think this is a rationalization to avoid facing the hard truth about Day.

Urban lost some games? Sure he did. What was Urbans floor? National title level. Elite program.

What is Day's floor? Are you confident we've found it yet? His trend is certainly disturbing.
