no having a rivals account, I am assuming that this means he will be moving down to DT?

Bestbuck36;898702; said:Not a lot of people talking about Doug this preseason. I'm guessing no one will be able to stop talking about him in a month or so. His size is fantastic and his speed and strength should be dominating. Add in the young guys next to him like Larrimore, Abdallah and Denlinger and our LB'ers should be free to annihilate anyone and everyone.
ShakerBuck;898748; said:he's gotta be the tallest DT that I can remember at 6'7" also probably the thinnest.

Tressel's quote from January - "He's gotten so big and we're looking for places to try to give him an opportunity," is a long way from - "this is the kid who will break the school record for tackles".
I love his size and he certainly came highly regard from HS - but IMO he still has everything to prove.
And before anybody jumps my case about being negative - remember last year when everyone was so excited about Laurinaitis because he got the late season start as a Frosh? I was the one who said temper your enthusiasm because he hadn't really proven anything either.
Here's hoping I continue my streak.
Not really the most positive comparison.Buckeye86;898754; said:Michigan had a DT who was 6'7" a couple of years ago. Checked and it was Patrick Massey, who was actually listed at 6'8" 262 lbs. his senior year and I'm almost positive he played tackle that year (2003).
