Dominique Brown (Louisville signee)

Him in the Wildcat is a really good idea..
It makes since, but is it enough of a reason to offer?

I would also like to see the big fella try returns. Brown is not blazing fast, but his vision and balance are very good. If he gets North and South he would be very hard to bring down. Touchdown returns are just a broken tackle or two away.

I may be reaching here, but I just love this kid with the ball in his hands.

From a UC insider.... wide receiver is the word.
Uh oh, who is not qualifying our not sticking with the Bucks?

That's the only way I can see us taking 4 Wide receivers.......because we aren't taking 4 wide receivers.

Let's see how this plays out, but how would a "UC Insider" find out before us?

I think the staff thinks they have filled all of their needs and this is a "next best player, regardless of position" offer. Could be wrong though.

Also, the other WR recruits have some position flexibility:

C. Brown - RB/DB
Louis - DB
Williams - Could grow into a TE

But out of those 3 players, I personally could only see Brown willing to switch positions. I don't think Williams would want to come here to be TE, he also wants the ball in his hands, and Louis is just really special at WR to switch to D. He almost reminds me a little of an unpolished Santonio Holmes. I'd like to see what Brown could bring to the fold if he commits.

Disagree. We are extremely green at wide out. We have Posey and Sanz that we can count on. Other than that, we know nothing about Fields and Jackson and with the loss of Thomas, grade problems with Carter, and alleged work ethic issues with Washington. The fact that Grant Schwartz hasn't gotten any reps is pretty telling as well. I think WR is a big concern for our staff. Guys like Dom Brown, James Louis, Roby, and Corey Brown (either) are guys that can be utilized on both sides of the ball so if they don't pan out right away, move em.

All of those things have been knowns for a while now. If it was a "need" offer based on any of the above it would have gone out a lot earlier. Unless the staff took more than a month to decide the next WR to get an offer.
