I have seen him play a few times and he is a big time athlete. I have also met a few of the WW coaches. This is a team that stresses speed and finese. I remember there RB coaching telling me they usually don't even block down on the DE's meaning, if the RB can't out run the end he can go to a different school. I hope the Bucks land him.

Several schools interested in Brown

Winton Woods senior QB Dominique Brown is being courted by the likes of UC, Ohio State, Louisville and Georgia Tech this week.

Ohio State was at Winton Woods for about three hours on Monday afternoon. UC was expected to visit the school today.

Louisville could visit Wednesday. The Cardinals have also been showing recent interest in Winton Woods senior RB Jeremiah Goins.

Georgia Tech, which plays in the Orange Bowl tonight against Iowa, could have coaches at Winton Woods on Thursday or Friday.

Brown, who was the Division II state offensive co-player of the year this past season, orally committed to UC last summer.

Brown helped lead Winton Woods to the school?s first state title. Winton Woods won the Division II state title with a 13-2 record.

Brown threw for 723 yards and seven touchdowns and rushed for 1,998 yards and 32 touchdowns.

As we tweeted in mid-December, Winton Woods coach Troy Everhart said last month that Brown could take two or three visits after the New Year.

Interesting.

If OSU spent 3 hours at his school yesterday, I would conclude:

a) There is serious interest.
b) A scholarship offer is forthcoming.

A) Fact.
B) Speculation. The staff's still waiting on their "Plan A" guys to make their commitments. 6 potential recruits favoring the Buckeyes right now(Henderson/James/Floyd/Hankins/Bryant/Anderson), 5 scholarships to give (after attrition). If 2 pull the trigger elsewhere (publically or privately to the coaching staff) or we get more attrition than we were expecting, I'd say that scholarship offer would look awfully promising for Dom. Considering Tress's past success with "Plan A" recruits announcing late, his chances look good for an offer, but that's far from concrete like your speculation suggests. You don't know what was said during that 3 hour meeting.

Brown may not be a Plan B recruit at all...simply one who needs to get his grades in order for an offer.

QB Brown could still end up a Bearcat; Spartans offer Hayes - ESPN

This is the visible portion of the article:

Quarterback Dominique Brown (Cincinnati, Ohio/Winton Woods) committed to Cincinnati in June when Brian Kelly was the Bearcats' coach. However, when Kelly took over for Charlie Weis at Notre Dame, Brown decommitted. But that doesn't mean he won't end up with the Bearcats. "I have a (official) visit to UC Jan. 22," Brown said. "I'm probably not going to sign on national signing day. I want to make sure I take my five visits. My coach said I don't have to sign on signing day." Brown also plays on the Winton Woods basketball team, which makes taking official visits more difficult.
