No, writing love letters to pre-teen boys is consistent with f!cked up pervert disorder.

Interesting...he and his lawyer was adamant before that this was all made up, right?...sounds to me like they're already shifting to the "X disorder/the Devil/ the voices in my head/Jodie Foster made me do it" defense, which would indicate they've more or less conceded that the evidence, even if circumstantial in areas, will be overwhelming.

Report: Penn State officials may have tried to conceal Jerry Sandusky child abuse allegations

By Jason Sickles | The Lookout ? 3 hrs ago

Former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky arrives for the first day of his trial Monday, June 11, ?
While opening arguments are under way in the child sexual assault trial against former Penn State football coach Jerry Sandusky, NBC News is reporting that unnamed sources tell them top school officials could face more charges for allegedly concealing what they knew about Sandusky's suspected conduct.
According to the NBC report:
"Internal e-mails and documents they say show former President Graham Spanier and others discussed whether they needed to tell authorities about a 2001 allegation involving a late-night encounter between a naked Sandusky and a young boy in the Penn State shower room. The sources say documents show Penn State even did legal research on the issue. But in one e-mail exchange, two sources say, Spanier and former vice president Gary Schultz agreed it would be 'humane' to Sandusky not to inform social services and the incident never got reported."

Spanier is in some REAL deep shit if those e-mails are as incriminating as they are reporting, although I would say that it could be a case where legally he may find a weasel-out but ethically at the very least he is toast. Schultz as well, but he's already in trouble. It seems more and more like the entire institutional power structure rolled the dice and gambled that this would go away if they covered it up...we see now the consequences of them being completely wrong. Let this be a lesson to every institution, college or otherwise, with regard to this type of activity.

Holy Mother of God, I've seen some Baghdad Bob-like spin jobs before in my life, but this one might just take the complete cake...

from the article:

Spanier and Schultz said it would be ?humane? to Sandusky to not report the incident to authorities or social services. The incident was never reported.

In a statement, the law office, Roberto & Farrell, representing Curley and Schultz stated, ?The information confirms that ? Tim Curley and Gary Schultz conscientiously considered Mike McQueary?s reports of observing inappropriate conduct, reported it to the University President Graham Spanier, and deliberated about how to responsibly deal with the conduct ??

The school will need to stay open to support all the settlements from multiple lawsuits.
And the FBI has opened the door for the NCAA to sanction Ped State.
Could it possibly look any uglier?
Why, yes! Yes it could!
