There shouldn't have been bail the first friggin time, but the judge (who was likely related to Sandusky in some way since it IS Central Pennsylshitholia) was/is an idiot sympathizer.

Reports said the judge had ties to Second Mile, including them donating to his campaign IIRC

Also of note - Sandusky was turned down a position as a volunteer football coach at Juniata college - when they discovered, in 2010, that he was under investigation at a high school mentioned earlier in the GJ testimony. (USA Today)

A year and a half after an investigation began into Jerry Sandusky's contact with young boys, the former Penn State assistant football coach applied for a volunteer coaching job at a central Pennsylvania college but was denied the job after a background check.

Officials at Juniata College said Wednesday that Sandusky applied for the volunteer football coaching job in May 2010 and rejected the following month after a background check showed a high school where Sandusky previously volunteered was investigating him.
Juniata spokesman John Wall said the college was not informed of the details of the investigation or the existence of a grand jury, but based on the report informed its coaches Sandusky was not to have contact with the program.

According to Wall, Sandusky continued to attend games after he was rejected for the job and at one point sat in the press box for an away game.
Wall said he wasn't sure what led Sandusky to be in the press box, but said the school's former athletic director then reiterated to its coaches that Sandusky was to have no connection with the team.

I am thinking you should have used another term in this thread.

Why is it that this piece of shit who is accused of physically sexually assaulting young boys gets only $250K bail when the OK teacher accused of trafficking child porn (where she took pics of her female students either in lingerie or partially nude and sent them to her boyfriend from her cell phone) gets $1M bail (deservedly so) when allegedly no physical abuse happened? Something is not right here.

Then you've got the school's involvement. Unbelievably bumbled at every fucking turn. We thought Tat-Gate was handled poorly? Look at what the fuck these jokers tried to get away with. I've joked about Ped State being in some kind of abyss that people simply can't get to from anywhere in the universe. But, the truth of it is, those fuckers are so removed from everywhere... and.. they really are just fucking strange. Period. "Ohio isn't a real State" signs at Basketball games... Then you've got Paterno and his sick quest for college football wins looking the other way. What in the hell is the matter with this guy? Paterno IS Ped State. Everyone fucking knows it. If JoPa calls the cops, the cops are listening. Why didn't he call the fucking cops? As I see it - he foolishly covered it up for one of two reasons. Wins (though, frankly, this theory doesn't make sense to me - had he come out with it in the first place, people would have respected that decision) or because when push came to shove, he defaulted on the side of a fucking pervert instead of abused boys. Questions about Sandusky's departure as a coach... Like I said earlier - Jackie Sherril may have cheated at football, but he's a way better man than Joe Paterno. People talk about records that should have * next to em? Give me a roided out HR hitter in the books any day over this twisted jackass Joe fucking Paterno. There's your goddamned legacy.
