Anyone else here use myfitnesspal as a weight/calorie/exercise tracker?

I've been using it for the past 2-3 months or so and it's really helped me manage my food intake. Since I started it I've lost around 12 pounds (I had lost probably 7-10 already prior to that during the summer).
I've been using it for the past week. I like how it lets me calculate what I need to eat to stay on target. I also use their calculator and food database to determine what I want to eat during a given day. I've dropped 3-4 pounds by just being more selective about my food choices. I haven't felt hungry and I've also been able to partake in some alcoholic beverages.

I started to, then when I tried to input certain foods that I eat lot for lunch, and they didn't have it their database (nor would have I known how much I ate of it since it's deli slices) I gave up, I'll prob use it for exercise

I eat almost the same thing every day during the week. So I used this to figure out how much calories I was taking in during the week. I wish it tracked how much calories you burned while lifting weights.

This was the reason I bought a Polar. When I really wanted to get serious
About putting in lean mass, it was just a huge help.

I don't have a smartphone, but I've been counting and tracking calories via livestrong.com. It's amazing how much it's helped me out. I was trying Atkins before and it was the true yo-yo diet. Go a week, lose 8 pounds, have one bad day and put 7 of it back on it seemed.

Now, I'm being more selective, AND exercising. I've been tracking for about 2 1/2 weeks now and have lost 7lbs. But the best part is actually cheating here and there and not seeing the effects the next morning on the scale.

I don't need to count calories or track my exercise. I have a mirror and my clothes to tell me if I'm overdoing the eating or underdoing my exercise. I wear size 32 pants, when they get tight I cut out certain foods and they fit well again.

I haven't measured, but I've got to be down about 5-10 % body fat since June. Feeling a lot better about my fitness level. I usually run 5 miles on M W F. Monday I ran 5.5 miles at a 7:30 pace and today I ran 3 at a 7:00 pace, which I feel pretty good at, considering I was running those at like 8:30-9:00 pace back in June. My goal is to eventually get back to where I can be around 55 minutes for an 8 miler.

But beach season is coming up, so I've been tightening up the diet and hitting the pull ups and pushups more too.

Anyone here going to the arnold classic next month? I go every year. It's a blast but if you don't like big crowds/stinky cologne you might not. I have met a lot of super cool people there. Expo is 15 bucks to get in. The women are stunning.

Went to the Arnie last year. It can be a bit...much.
Some of the women are beautiful. Others are just
Down right frightening.

Yea it's a freak show, but it's worth going to if you want to see extremes people can push themselves to. I actually ran into chuck liddell years ago walking through one of the sky walks. Super cool dude. I've seen some buckeyes there every single year so that always makes it a little better.
