Derrick "LLL" Green (RB ttun transfer to TCU)

I will now call him Beatchonhisbacka.

Sounds like a Wookie?

Our DL is still very young. Every single one of them makes plenty of mistakes. I can see them getting better every week, but I think when there is a decent threat of the pass, we are very frangile both inside and outside. The other problem is if Shazier can not get there, the rest of the LB's take bad angles and don't seal the edges and gaps very well yet. Additionally, and again outside of Shazier, our LB's and DB's seem to get to a spot about 3 yards from the RB and sit and wait for the RB to get to them. I guess this is because of youth, the coaches would rather have them give up a couple rather than miss the tackle and give up a bunch. This is not very good when you are plqying a big RB though, unless he is also very shifty, which i don't think Green is at this point. So we have to play solid, and aggressive gap control. When Spence is in he'd better seal the edge for the run first and then rush the QB. He is the worst with regard to this at this point. Of course we have to find a good balance betwwen all that and rushing and sealing the edges with respect to Gardner.

Not worried about Green in the least. He will not go off on this defense. He can't get to the edge quickly enough, and no way he runs inside on us with their O line and our D line.
