Defensive Staff Next Year?

I realize your role here is to express the most concern for Day and his decision making but perhaps you missed his comment “I really wanted to start fresh”

I didn’t hear any bit of softness from Day and we certainly didn’t see it from his actions.

Didn't miss anything. I can read just fine thanks.

In fact, I read it right after the part about "I really had to think about it" then, of course, that's why I said, as I'm sure you read, "I'm going to chalk it up to being civil...".

Maybe if I juxtaposed the two concepts of my statement, and simplified it, you could follow it better;

I'm sure he was just being polite but if he really did have to think about it, that would be scary.

Hopefully that helps you be more comfortable with what I posted because that is really important to me.

He sure didn’t seem like he hesitated making major changes from watching his presser. That’s the point.

Whatever. Urbs stuck with Smith through two schools and didn’t move until the back story hit page 1. He brought Coombs back and I bought it because the guy was a proven recruiter, but the D began to slide covered by high scoring offense and Chase. Tressell stuck with an O-line coach who couldn’t develop a running game. Day didn’t note the fissures beginning to show up under Urbs, promoted Coombs and then threw a mid-season patch on the problem.

I wish Day had moved sooner, but he wasn’t hired on the basis of his defensive smarts. Now he’s grabbed reins and I’m anticipating great things.

Every time you post I get a little uncomfortable. But it’s just because that avatar causes a tightness in my crotch area.

But just so I’m clear, don’t change it, uncomfortable is good.

Translate for me please.

Is this just informational or are you suggesting he maybe moving here?

He’s a name that is being heavily rumored as LJsr’s replacement. As you can see from the tweet, he was a GA with OSU under Urban.
But it’s interesting that he’s at Ole Miss, and his pinned tweet is from when he was at OSU 5yrs ago
So I was trying to be subtle and informative
