Yeah - 63-14 and they DROPPED in the rankings, from 1 to 2.
Years later, Ohio State beat Penn State 45-6, and I seem to remember some "talking heads" asking Cooper to apologize for "running up the score". I don't see the story on google, but screw that apologizing, crap!

That was the game where Adam Taliaferro got injured late in the game as OSU was on the verge of scoring another touchdown. If I'm remembering correctly, that had as much to do with the cries for an apology as the final score. Nancies.

Japan's Hirohito Hazelnut version didn't do well either...
Just to round out the WWII Celeb club ice cream series, Musolini's Maraschino Mash up, Stalin's Strawberry Massacre, and Sergeant Schultz's Stalag Saur Schnitzel all went out after an initial blitzkrieg of sales.

Rommel's Rum Raisin ran over the competition for many years, though, and the locals will bend over backwards for Sandusky's Spumoni.

yeah, i remember everyone getting their panties all in a bunch over that late TD, but Sammy Maldonado scored that TD. it's not like Coop had the starters in there. it wasn't Coop's fault that Ped State couldn't tackle anyone who was more than 10 years old.

That's all well and good, but I hope they aren't considering that part of their reparations. That'd be like buying your buddy a new air freshener after wrecking his car.

There are rumor threads on each of the PSU boards. Defensive strategies are being mapped out. Troops are being deployed. The Message Board Militia has issued a call to arms.

But the BOT has the upper hand. At the critical moment when the crane is to be put into place, with the simplest of distractions, they will get everyone to look the other way. THAT is the Penn State Way.
