He is on a football scholarship, but does he at least have the option to play lacrosse for the Buckeyes in the Spring?

I don't think it's likely, because he's on a football scholarship, and it's during Spring Football.

That is entirely up to Coach Meyer.

Edit: Reading through his thread on Irish Eyes, some (in posts a week ago) said Urban told him he could play both.

Edit: There is also a Hubbard quote over there attributed to an insider board (which one?):

Ohio State has mentioned the opportunity to set up a meeting with the lacrosse coach, but I’ll probably just play football and see how my grades are doing from that point,

Great commit. Love seeing the cincy kids (especially GCL) get a chance to play for the buckeyes. And show that not all of cincinnati roots for UC. Cant wait to see where he plays once he gets on campus
