#Buckeye commit Sam Hubbard told me today that he ran his first ever timed 40-yard dash the other day: 4.56. At 6'6, 225. Egads.

I would like him at LB as well, due to our depth concerns, but at 6'6'' 225lbs and only 17, don't you foresee a move to DE eventually? This kid could gain another 20-25lbs and keep that speed and athleticsm

It all comes down to tackling. You just absolutely must tackle someone and not just run into them. All these guys have speed. Who is the guy that will tackle?

Yep. Also, I think Dave Robinson, who started at OLB for Green Bay from the early '60s to the early '70s was something like 6.5", 250...and that's back when many DL weren't that big.

Nothing at all sir. Just figured we'd use his size, speed and athleticism at DE to rush the passer. And I figured he'd still be growing while in our s&c program and eventually move to DE. I don't care where this kid plays as long as he's on thw field for osu and laying someone out in the opposing jersey

Jevon Kearse made the transition from high school S to college (and pro) DE just fine. That's not to say Hubbard could do it, but it's possible.

Nothing at all...in fact, I think that would be excellent. Still, unless he grows to 260+ he'll most likely be an OLB.
