If I could change the tone of this thread, interesting tidbit.....

Last night Gibson, who plays basketball also for Euclid, faced Villa Angela-St. Joseph and OSU signee David Lighty. Gibson scored 21 points in an overtime loss.

Hmmm, so even with our reduction in basketball scholarships, Matta could get another "freebie" if Gibson were on football scholarship...

Thad enjoyed his visit to Tennessee and says all teams are even. He will visit tOSU on 1/13, but says the Bucks are not leading nor did he grow up as a big fan.

Not much new. Gibson says all things are equal right now. He will visit tOSU on 1/13 and said he will also visit Penn St. in January.

Another good read from Dave Biddle. Thad is down to Ohio State, Tennessee, Michigan, and Penn State. He just took the ACT again and needs a 17 to qualify. The tOSU staff has been in frequent contact.

To me, thats a good sign. It means that they know they have to make up ground. At least that's how I see it through my scarlet tinted glasses!

Gibson is still scheduled to visit tOSU on 13-15 Jan. Lets hope he gets qualified.

Doesn't look like they get McCoy at this point. I think he's JUCO bound, and one that is a feeder to USC.

I still think if Gibson makes grades, he will be a Buckeye. I think some of the things he has said recently have been an attempt to have the staff take more notice.

Forgive me, it has been a long time since I took the ACTs. Anyone know how long it takes to get the results? Is it likely to be known before his OSU visit?

They should have the results by the first week of January.
