I'm starting to think Brown should be a 5 star. If you look at his performance in combines and games, the kid shows up every week. I can not think of one time he didn't compete and perform well. He goes against top competition, thrives on it, and dominates. Seems like a 5 star to me.

The late committment is the key. As Wade (and others) have said many times, the recruiting sites have to keep subscribers interested... committed kids don't keep the lights on :lol: (just look at our Scout board... all of the active threads are about the uncommitted kids)

Barnett looks like more of a zone coverage guy who does better with the play in front of him like the tampa 2 corners in the NFL....Brown seems like a guy who does great in man-to-man coverage and can really make plays on the ball like Chris Gamble or that traitor who won the heisman at TSUN.

Ive seen numerous folks who have seen Barnett in person say he's going to play FS in college

I said it months ago, that Brown was the best CB in the class.. actually i had to fight off the expert guys (wadc, hotmic, 40, etc) on here.. it was a good debate we had back on page 5.

I might change my opinion to Clarke now...any way you slice it we look to really have 4 big time dbs right now in Clarke, Barnett, Wood, and Brown...Then maybe Green...I might think on taking a pass on that one db ship it seems the staff would like to add...

I've got to agree with you on that. Seriously... even at a 50% hit rate on these guys, it's a heck of a class. I'm betting on 75% hit rate.

Where'd you go with the extra ship tho?

Either way, heck of a time to be a Buckeye. These past two classes have just been unreal. Looking like the next one may shape up to be as well. Wow... just wow.
