Day said today that Brendon didn't make the trip for personal reasons. This may be a case where everyone might want to give him some space.

Re: Asked whether Brendon White would be back for the playoff, Ryan Day said he would have conversations with White this week and would go from there. Day said earlier Sunday that White did not travel to the Big Ten Championship Game due to "personal reasons."

Just sayin': We might know more later this week.

Can't blame a guy for wanting to play. I was surprised that he didn't see more playing time this year. But the Defensive Coaches have been pretty spot on with personnel calls this year, so I trust the coaches on this one.

Because this staff views him as a linebacker. He’s been Werner’s backup all season.

I think you could see it coming when he barely played at all, the entire season

Not in this defense with Werner playing lights out. There isn't one guy that I would've say for White this season. Not a knock on him, but our defense played damn good this year.
Best of luck to the kid, I could see most of the teams in the B1G fighting over getting him in, heck a number of P5 schools throughout the nation would love to have him. He will find a good home, and we'll see him in the NFL
