Not sure why it was even considered "risky" in the first place. Just wear your mask and take hand sanitizer with you. Heck, they might wipe the touch screen down after each voter steps out of the booth. Just keep people spaced apart and make them have masks. They only the mask even needs to be pulled down for a second if when they check your ID. If it's done right you could process thousands of people at a polling place without a single transfer of the virus.

Check the above two posts. Just make a mask as mandatory as a photo ID--no mask, no vote. Making you wear a mask in a government-controlled facility is no more an invasion of your liberties than is requiring a photo ID, although the Democrats say that's racist.
