Quite false, yet folks still watch Leno when they don't find him funny, leading to this nonsense.

Leno is going to tank very badly after this, particularly after losing all of conan's followers and the large chunk of America that is disillusioned with jay.

And yes I have thought that Conan is funny - and it's not a forced thing either like it is with Leno or Letterman.

According to virtually every site I've read on the 'net, I'm too old to be on Conan's side in this silly mess, so perhaps it's a symptom of my elderly mind deteriorating--I could've sworn I remembered being amused by some of Conan's antics.

I'm so old I still miss Steve Allen and Jack Parr -- I'm so old I haven't stayed up to watch Tonight since three years before Carson hung 'em up. I do DVR The Daily Show and watch it at my convenience.

I don't like/dislike for Leno on the rare occasions I catch him He's just a presence.

Another funny person I was reminded of last night: Demetri Martin, on The Comedy Channel--the kid is one of the most original comedians I've seen in a while--dare you to watch his act & finish all his punchlines before he does.

BTW, anyone know if Conan is done, or if he is working this week?
