Got to see Conan's show up in East Lansing last night... hilarious. He had an opening guy named Reggie Watts out of Lansing. Kid Rock made an appearanc and played a little bit. It ended up being about a 2 hour show. I could've done without the musical stuff after a bit, but he hit on a lot of the highlights of his show... Walker lever, masterbating bear, triumph (video), and a couple of other things.

Things are looking up for Conan, post-NBC. His new 11pm latenight show drew 4.2 million viewers for its debut Monday, 2.5 million of which were in the coveted 18-34 demographic, and it was the highest rated latenight show on TV for both broadcast and cable. Ratings, as expected, fell on Tuesday night, down 33% to 2.8 million viewers, but as of Wednesday those numbers have stabilized at 2.7 million. That's great news for O'Brien and TBS execs, who must be thrilled to have pushed George Lopez and his 600,000 viewers back to midnight in favor of such a huge new (and young, advertiser-friendly) audience.
