I'm a pens fan and while I'm impressed with the jackets this is more about the jackets wanting it more instead of more talent.

Crosby, Malkin, Letang and outside of the goal tonight Neal have all been such a major disappointment for the last few years the pens have reached the playoffs. Personally, if the pens luck out and win it would be a shame because clearly Columbus wants this more.

Although fleury hasn't been awful count me as someone who thinks vokoun needs to come in now before it's too late.

:tibor: I think the only bad play that Fleury made during the game was when he allowed the tying goal by going behind the net. I do not think you can blame him for whiffing on the Foligno goal because that was one hell of a wrist shot and it probably came totally unexpected.

I think you have to give some credit to the opposing players for your big stars not giving what they have give all season because this is not the regular season.

Dubinksy has done a great job keeping Crosby in check (and getting under his skin).

But the big difference in the series has been guys like Johnson and Umberger are willing to leap and dive to block shots with their faces while Gina and Cindy cry when they get snow on their blouses.

I don't want to jinx anything, but Crosby in this year's playoffs is very similar to Rick Nash in last year's playoffs. Nearly non-existent, afraid to give or take a hit, and looks a bit out of sync.

Cindy looked like that last year against Boston too.

Honestly - during the game Monday I noticed he was floating on defense and not really getting engaged. He already doesn't play a lot of PK time. Makes you wonder.
