For once next year isn't necessarily a bad goal. After all, even the most optimistic of fans had them maybe squeaking into the playoffs and they were in position basically since Christmas give or take.

The young players will get better. Jarmo is a hell of a GM and Davidson is a great team President. I think they actually might know what they are doing.

Is that even legal in Ohio, pro sports execs that actually know what they're doing?

Jackets are putting good, consistent pressure on the Pens, at least.
