I was going through the roof on that one. If they had somehow scored with short time on that play I would have gone off the reservation.

I fucking hate officials.

That said, the Jackets kept their poise in the 3rd period with #3 goalie Mike Mckenna in net. Ryan Johansen, Ryan Murray, Matt Calvert, Cam Atkinson are going to be stars in the near future. Great win by the CBJ!! Just need to keep it together until Bob gets back. Or McIlhenny.

Big point last night against a great St. Louis team. Up 3-1 at one point I didn't think the Jackets had it in them to hang on. It would have been nice, but to have the injuries that the Jackets have, not to mention playing their number 3 goalie, to come out of that game with a point was big. St. Louis is a STRONG club.

Look at the standings...they're right there for a playoff spot.

They are better now than Carolina even with the injuries. Detroit is as injured, but the people they are putting in aren't contributing like the CBJ players are. Washington is schizophrenic, you never know which team you're getting when you play them.

When they start getting people back, they'll be in the playoffs I think.

Not getting my hopes up. Comes with being a Browns fan. But they are playing tough, team hockey right now. Several stars in the making right before our eyes. Horton coming in a few weeks should obviously help and getting Bob back sooner than later would be nice.

Oh yeah, I can recognize the self-preservation technique :wink:

Wings lost again tonight and now they are saying Weiss won't be back until after Xmas. Detroit's streak may end this year :(

Absolutely disgraceful performance against Philly tonight. Never seen a team cough that up that DIDN'T have Mason in goal. Pathetic. That might be one that they can't bounce back from. Wouldn't be surprised to see a free fall after this game. Putrid.
