Barring a colossal meltdown in the final two minutes, the Jackets just won against a good team with a top line of Murray - Vermette - Mayorov.
I'm not sure I can say this is a good win for the Jackets, because each win takes us further away from the best possible pick. :p

Jackets close to an agreement that would make the Springfield (Mass.) Falcons their AHL team. It used to be the Oilers AHL affiliate, but Edmonton signed an agreement with Oklahoma City.
Pretty sure the Jackets control the coaching and whatnot, so this deal probably won't change much as far as prospect growth (right jo?).

a few contracts are not with the blue jackets (fritsche, mirasty i know for sure). one year deal, the lem deal is up after next year.
