I imagine that the financial situation will have an impact on FA?

jaybo, possibly but hell be expensive. him and nash know each other relatively well. umm maybe, but doubtful. id put it in the redden boat-theyll tender an offer id guess (at this point) and i dont think it will be enough to make it worth it. personally i think shea weber is a better player.ysubuck;1471705; said:Bowmeester was mentioned in that article with Nash as being a subject of "rumors."
Would JB ever entertain coming to Columbus? I believe I read an article by Portzline a couple of weeks ago that said that Columbus could afford him but that Toronto was the likely destination for JB.
Again, why not Columbus?
blackberry said its to good of a market. the problem is they cant/wont move the franchise till its a failure, columbus has a nice base, a good hockey following. the key is making the columbus bluejackets relevant in dytn, clev, cincy. it needs to be an ohio team to be competitive with less than 2m in columbus you cant compete. i think youll see growth in youth hockey in columbus the next ten years, hell look at the ohl draft columbus is producing 16 year olds with nhl talent after only 8 years with a franchise...3074326;1476248; said:jo4h, what do you think of this arena-lease deal? it could be, but i dont think basillie thinks its good for hockey. he might be a prick but hes not a dumbass jackass, hes a hockey fan. he wants a team in w ont but he doesnt want to poch a repuatable franchise... he doesnt want to be known like the canes franchise or many of the others like that...BuckeyeMike80;1476254; said:I didn't think Columbus was even in the discussion....
