I guess the good thing about Heatley is that you know he can play.

Then again, the last noteworthy Senator who left was the guy you mentioned, Wade Redden. That's working out well for the Rangers.

They have a couple guys making way too much money.. Redden, Gomez, Drury (?), Rozsival (?). They have some problems.

That would help explain why BN27 is so bitter. :slappy:

thats pre lockout (salary cap/floor era). granted it can be proven with the flyers and the jeff carter situation last summer. (and the brad richards issue). or the briere/drury or many other big name/big contract players that to this point havent been moved under the new cba for a variety of reasons.

I just like dissing Lindros and Clarke. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any more pics of #88 after Scott Stevens knocked him the fuck out. You'd think there'd be at least one per concussion.

Jackets swap picks with the isles and pick up some extra picks

The 2009 NHL Entry Draft live blog - Posted Sports

7:59 p.m. The New York Islanders and Columbus Blue Jackets exchange the No. 26 and No. 16 picks, respectively. The Isles move up, the Jackets down.
There are too many second, third and fourth round picks involved in this deal to even comprehend. Suffice to say, the Isles are giving up picks in each of those rounds, in addition to the No. 26.
