the yotes are interesting. the team is bleeding red, turns out building a rink in the middle of no where is a bad idea... certainly in a city without much hockey history. the move out to glendale and the cost of the new arena is killing the team. some think its like poker with them. they may go all in and hope for a deep push (playoff revenue is "free" money) others seem to think a trade deadline firesale is looming. will the team be sold? who knows

the nash thing is interesting. he is likely one of the few players you game plan against when on the power play. he has the ability to defend and stretch you, hes big, he can skate, he can bury a chance. thats a lethal combo, interesting hitch is the first guy to say hey rick get your ass on the pk. thats back to back games shorthanded.
maybe ill punch out a rant or a breakdown or something soon, who knows..

I think it has to do with Columbus finally attaining a level of talent that made teams respect the other players on the ice with Nash more than they used too. Now you won't see teams running 3 guys at Nash because they actually have to cover the other players now.
