Columbus Blue Jackets (Official Thread)

Yes.

The ref not even bothering to talk to him was wrong, but Peca has to know he can't touch a ref - especially a horrible one
so hes tectonically obligated to speak to peca, only players with letters may speak to officials.

ill withhold judgment til i see the incident tonight. im guessing theirs more to the story. and by that i mean more than colin campbells kid now playing for the blackhaws.. (thats a joke at this point)

when the linesmen let that fight go for 7 hours it was a sign of piss poor officiating to come.

I couldn't believe those dumb fucks didn't step in. Seems like a good way to get someone knocked the fuck out. Garbage.

If Peca was going to make contact and get suspended, he at least could have gone for the gold........pulled the bastard's shirt over his head and pounded the holy hell out of him. :p

I know. I think that's exactly why Peca made contact with him.......

There usually is, however, in this case the ref was obviously wrong and Peca made it worse.

That entire ref crew was out of their league. I hope they get canned.

Peca ... Could Be 20 Games (Puck-rakers)
The NHL has placed Peca's infraction under rule 41.2, not 41.3 as we expected.
Rule 41.2 states: “Any player who deliberately strikes an official and causes injury or who deliberately applies physical force in any manner against an official with intent to injure, or who in any manner attempts to injure an official shall be automatically suspended for not less than twenty games.”
