I don't know why he seems to be considered an "elite" goalie. He beats bad teams, goes about .500 with teams who are about even with Dallas, he OWNS San Jose, but can't usually beat Detroit or Colorado.....figure that one out....

DALLAS -- That the Blue Jackets were in last night's game in the first place was hard to believe.
That they beat the Dallas Stars with 20.6 seconds left in overtime was even harder to fathom.
Rick Nash -- who else, right? -- scored on a wrist shot from the top of the circles to give the Blue Jackets a 5-4 season-opening victory.
"It's a huge win," Nash said. "We showed a lot of character. In saying that, we made a lot of mistakes. There's a lot of things we can do better. A lot of us were playing together for the first time, but we leave here with two points. That's huge."

DALLAS -- The Blue Jackets were the visiting club for the Dallas Stars' home opener last night, and they'll play the same role for the Phoenix Coyotes tonight.
But rather than view themselves as sacrificial lambs, the Blue Jackets emphasize coming out like lions.
"The first 10 minutes of the game are jacked up," coach Ken Hitchcock said. "There's a lot of nervous energy from both teams. It's not at all a cautious atmosphere out there.
