Colin Cowherd (Official Ass Hat)

Cowherd saw the glass half empty today. during the 2002 season, did we have much of an offense? no. did we have solid special teams (besides Nugent?) no. however, osu "found ways to win." this year, we lose by 3 points to the #2 bcs team, and by 7 points to the #3 bcs team. we didn't find ways to win - so he bills us as "folding under pressure."

had we won each of those games by 1 point, he would have been praising OSU for 'finding ways to come out on top.'

the guy's paycheck is based upon his market share. the buckeye nation should do him a tremendous service and have the right to remain silent.

Heck, who's whining Finds? We have one hell of a football team. No matter what, we're going to a good bowl. We got lots of upside for next year and one hell of a basketball season getting under way.

We're blessed man, and chicks dig us! :osu:
Ok, you win...but if you wanna shorten it, it's "Fin". :p
"Finds" just makes me confused.

I was slammed last week for suggesting the same as CH has done. However, we are now 1-3 in big games and we were remarkably consistent in the two losess....our offense sucked and we lost by a close margin.

Anway, the dude makes a good argument that we all know is true even if it stings. So let's hope this lands a bowl game against the Irish and we can settle it on the field.

i'm still throwing the bullshit card for several reasons. first, ND had one big game against a legit team. if ttun is mediocre and cowherd states, then nd can't take any solice in that game. nd lost by 3 to the #1 team. however, usc played 4 of 5 on the road and ND conveniently had a bye week. nd consistently beat up on navy, byu and syracuse. good work. osu did the same to iowa, msu, and NW.

if we're throwing oregon in the mix, they played one legit team this year and got ran off by 30+. but i guess barely escaping a 4 win wazzu team by 3 points is the benchmark of consistency.

I could agree with the inconsistent comments if TS was withy the team all year..any analyst worth his saltknows that our early inconsistencies was all about the suspension not talent, football smarts, or JT's coaching.

I argued we were playing the Little Sisters of the Blind of the BigTen late in the season. I argued that is why we looked so good. I believe I was wrong. I now believe we simply improved over that period of time. I think the scUM game is strong evidence of such. Further, I think anyone that has put in the time we have, has probably reached the same conclusion. However, I don't think analysts can put in the effort on each and every team, so they make broad generalizations based on myopic observations. So, he looks at three games (dimisses one of them) and claims we did not play well in the remaining two games. He is correct but that does not accurately produce a qualified metric in support of his opinion that ND is more deserving.

Man, I hope we get to play the Irish.
