Colin Cowherd (Official Ass Hat)

he has been doing this all year, this is just the first time it has been aimed at tosu. Do you not remember what he was saying about texas and mack brown before sept 10th. He is a smart radio personality trying to move up in the business.

Exactly. This is just noise. There's no way that he's too stupid to realize that any OSU win against UM in Ann Arbor is, by definition, a good performance regardless of whether UM's any good or not.

The "straw man" that OSU fans aren't giving PSU its props is ridiculous though. It's not like we are now inventing the co-championship concept. For that matter, OSU, while making enough mistakes to not close the deal, didn't exactly suck in the UT game: The Bucks held the Horns to 1/2 their season average and scored over 50% more than they're giving up. Credit the Horns for just being really good this year. I'll concede that the PSU game was an offensive abomination.

i think that we are a lot better team than in the beggining of the year
Unquestionably, but most everyone else is a better team than they were at the beginning of the year too*. Texas is a better team now. Miami would dominate FSU if that game were played in Week 13 rather than Week 1. Auburn is off the charts. If LSU and Tennessee played anywhere 10 times right now LSU would roll the Vols every single time.

*Improving as the season progresses does not apply to Tennessee or Michigan State.

I have never listened to Cowherd, but from this discription I guess he must be the Tibor of sports talk radio....yeah, I'm glad I haven't wasted my time listening.

actually he has a pretty good show. Sometimes he stirs stuff up to get the calls going but allot of what he says is dead on most of the time.

I really like listening to him because to Me he is one of the few people you can tell is a legit FAN of sports along with it being his job.

I didn't hear what he had to say but what I have picked up from comments here I would haveto agree with him about us not playing in big games early in this year. Thump pointed it out earlier the fg's against texas killed us. With the turnovers we should have buried them early. But we didn't step up, and the stadium was loud that night, lots of students did make it back for the game, but if all the students would have been in town it may have been dealening.

I'd say we have been pretty consistent for the last half of the season. We put up 40+ points for four games in a row, and 35+ in 5 games. The problem for us was that our offense didn't start shifting gears until after the Penn State game. I think that was our wake up call. I think we played pretty well against Michigan. We held scUM to 32 yards rushing on 24 carries (imagine what we could've done with a healthy Bobby Carpenter). I'm looking forward to playing whoever we play in the bowl game so we can change the minds of all doubters.

He is saying that tOSU is a poser this year because they haven't played well in their biggest games. He says that consistency is the most important thing and that tOSU is not consistent. He says that ND is consistent because you can expect 40 points a game and no dropped passes each week. He also says they are better because they played their best game of the year in their toughest game. What a jag-off... Then he is proceeding to call all tOSU fans non-objective because they don't agree with him, because everyone one not from OH agrees with him.
im not gonna read all 5 pages, but i agree with colin.

we have played two top 20 teams and are 0-2. i think the argument has some weight, how much i dont know. all i know is id rather play notre dame than auburn/lsu in the captial one bowl.
