yeah, some of these guys who call in are idiots but you know we did out play texas IMO and we we did beat Michigan, who he predicted to beat us, while playing a sloppy game in the big house. But no, we arnt good because we arnt Notre Dame and he wants ratings it seems.

He's towing the company line now concerning Ohio State.

The fact that he even brings up Notre Dame beating Tennessee is a laugh.

Tennessee got beat by Vanderbilt for crying out loud.

Cowherd must have gotten a talking to by the espin staff after he didn't get on board with the Clarett conspiracy.

i understand he never said that, but what he is saying is we arnt deserving of a bcs game..did he say this flat out..no. Has he said about 20 times Notre Dame is better thn Ohio State, yes. The other thing he keeps saying is we shrink in our biggest moments. In our most recent attempt we scored twice in 7 minutes to win the game at UMs house.

that is a good point, he is overlooking coming back in crunch time.. can't say OSU shrunk when they overcame.

He said we played sloppy in our biggest games. I can't agree that we played sloppy against Texas........but we did against penn state and michigan.

Turned it on to hear the train wreck. Turned it off after he noted that Notre Dame is a great team for stepping up in it's biggest games -- a loss to USC and a win over Tennessee. :roll2:

If anything that this douche says prompts you to call ESPN Radio, 1460, or even your friends, you get what you deserve. He's just being the Howard Stern of sports radio, but without the vulgarity, the humor, or the boobs, which essentially just makes him a schmuck poseur looking to light up the switch board by pissing off some large segment of the population.

now i sound like you trying to argue a point.
He said we have shrunk in our 3 biggest games. He said we played sloppy against UM as well, which in a post earlier I acknowledged. His main point has been ND rises to beat tennesse. Not to mention letting USC drive down the field to win the game in the final minutes, but they rose. Friday he picked UM to beat us. Now that we beat them UM is a bad team. What a joke. Cowherd is talking out his ass now to stir up callers.

Texas - Offense played bad, we lost
Penn State - Offense played like shit, we lost
Michigan - We were sloppy on ST, we won

Yeah what he is saying is soooooo outrageous. Hang him by his toes.

were going in circles. I know we didnt play well against those teams. What cowherd said is we shrunk in all 3. I disagree. I dont think we shrunk against Michigan. Did we play bad? yes. Did we buckle down and get it done when we needed to? yes. Therefor I dont think we shrunk against Michigan. I personally dont think we "shrunk" against texas. Between a dropped td pass, 2 qb's, and some other factors we gave the game away. I dont think we "shrunk". Am i saying boycott Cowherd..no. Im simply disagreeing with him and giving reasons to back myself up. I must of forgot this was a message baord. My bad.
Also, I think its shady he picks a team to beat us, we beat them and then all the sudden that team isnt any good.
