Colin Cowherd (Official Ass Hat)

here is the audio of colin's rant.

essentially, it's this: "i'm colin cowherd. i'm important. i'm so important that if i mention a website, my listeners will go to that site and crash it. that sounds like fun. let's do it. i have nothing against "the big lead," but i don't care. i'm colin cowherd. let's close that blog down."
he was wrong, too.............oh wait.

I've tried to listen to Colin Cowherd, and he turns me off everytime. Once out of every five times he takes a hard-line-if-you-don't-agree-with-me-you're-a-moron stance, I agree with him. So according to him, I'm a moron. His inability to actually debate legitimate sports issues makes him an ass.

Cowherd issued a brief and simply worded apology on his show today. Basically, "shouldn't have done it, sorry and it will not happen again." (ESPN suits probably dished out a token wrist slap and demand for that on-air statement).
Nothing said about the money the bloggers had to shell out to resurrect service following his invitation to DNS the site to death.
Wonder if the bloggers should actually sue, though I suspect the cost would be in that gray area between small claims and real money.

I know - take it to People's Court and have Cowherd try and wow that lady judge to the backdrop of tape recorded renditions of his original invitation to attack.

ESPN's new Ombudsman was flooded, and she contacted Traug Keller, senior vice president of ESPN Radio.

From her article, Keller said, "We talked to Colin Cowherd, and we talked to all our radio talent, making it clear that you cannot do this [...] Our airwaves are a trust, and not to be used to hurt anyone's business. Such attacks are off limits. Zero tolerance. I can't say it any stronger."

Apparently, Keller's "zero tolerance" policy will be very strong, next time. :shake:

There's also this at the USA Today:

If Cowherd's weak apology is supposed to end this, I don't think that's going to be good enough.
