Ok. You guys have shown me the error of my ways. What the hell was I thinking? So, I guess I don't want Harbaugh but I want someone better than Hoke. I just don't want UM to suck ass anymore. I guess a 9 win team annually with a loss every year to tOSU. I do recall the Cooper years quite well and they weren't any fun but the last few years haven't been fun really either. But I do like moving toward evening out the series for sure. Thank you BP friends for setting my ass straight.

I wonder if any scUM candidates watched the B1G CG and are itching to get in there and go head to head with Urban given how far ahead of the rest of the B1G he has his program,

I've been blessed to attend The Game 4 of the last 5 years. If you haven't been been enjoying the victories, you must be doing something wrong. I've enjoyed each and every one of those wins. I can't imagine a scenario where I wouldn't enjoy a tOSU victory over tsun.

Like I said, Derek Dooley did wonders for the standards in Knoxville. 11-13 (5-11) now earns you an extension at Tennessee. Actually, credit might go to Lane Kiffin. That man ran two programs into the ground in under 5 years. That's friggin' impressive.

No doubt. And as we see this year, a shitty TTUN and a mediocre conference didn't prevent our participation in the Champoinship series. And that includes a pretty shitty loss on our part.
But I'll go a step further, even if there DOES come a day when we are left out because TTUN is shitty, there is still NO WAY that them being good is good for us. The ripple effect of them being good makes it harder, not easier to accomplish goals. Meanwhile, that school and its innate smugness is almost intolerable because they wear that smugness with actual pride. Imagine being proud of being smug...that's what they are. Allowing that to grow... it's like a pernicious weed that needs to be snuffed out or a cockroach infestation left unchecked...it's bad and it's always bad.
While I never want to lose to anyone, I'll live with losses to other foes because most (with exception of PSU) are tolerable fan bases. Not TTUN. May they rot in obscurity forever - pointing to Jim Tressel and Urban Meyer as those that started a landslide that never ended.

I don't know if having a strong Michigan will ever help us win a National Championship, but I do know that in 1969 Michigan kept us from winning a National Championship.
I am fine with UM rebuilding their program and coming back strong - provided they do it after I am dead. And I plan on living at least another 25 years.

And I vividly recall they were a single completed end-zone pass (intercepted, thank you, Jesus) from shredding our ticket to the NC in 2002.
I can live happily with them as a perpetual 98-pound weakling.
That said, for the sake of the BIG's rep, I do still hope they win their bowl game this...Oh, that's right...never mind.
