Coaching changes: coaches hired and fired, comings and goings

Bert goes from the B1G champion to a middle of the pack SEC school- National media "this proves how horrible the conference is, and is another black eye"

Strong/Jones stay at Big lEast schools instead of running to the SEC/PAC12, and no one says an effing word.

Urban goes (after a brief hiatus) from Florida to Ohio State: Urban couldn't take the pressure, he wanted an easier conference and less stress.

Bielema goes from 7-5 Wisconsin to 4-8 Arkansas: the SEC is soooo good. Coaches want to play harder opponents. That's why everyone is going to the SEC.

If we go off ESPN's Urban narrative, the true reason for the move is Britt Bielezemia thought he would have an easier job winning at 4-8 Arkansas.

Do you think the NCAA would accept CU's reasoning of no one else wanting the job in an attempt to hire Tressel?

Might have to hire Jack Del Rio from the Denver Broncos or something (kidding, he's not even a candidate).

But seriously, Colorado is basically left with Western Kentucky's coach or some Pac-12 assistants. Considering they just fired a coach w/o HC experience, they shouldn't hire an assistant.

If no one wants it, hire Tressel (but JT would turn it down).

Funny that Cincinnati has a mandatory team meeting, according to Twitter.

Butch Jones tells them he wants to win a national championship like Bielema.

Kidding, he probably took the Tennessee job.

Then you're not Colorado.

Embree was buying bottled water and bringing it to coaches meetings to provide his staff because the University wouldn't supply any.

They were to good to use the Rocky Mountain spring water Coors is always trying to tell us is so amazing?

While Dryden makes a good point, one has to wonder why it is necessary to BUY water in Boulder. There are bottled water companies that literally get their water from the city supply of various North American cities, some of them in Colorado. Evian spelled backwards is what?

ESPN reporting that Cincy's Butch Jones has been hired by Tennessee. Press conference this afternoon.

Seems like Pat Narduzzi is emerging as a front-runner for the UC job.

One thing that would scare away some coaches, in my view, is the fact Cincinnati might not have a conference in a few years or might go to Conference USA.

my hunch is UC finds its way to the ACC when the four rumored schools leave for the SEC/Big 12 or B1G.

As a UC and Colerain alumnus...there is only one man I want for the job...curious to see if Coombs gets an interview, though.

Never buy bottled water from the state you live in. They don't have to go through the same guidelines from the FDA than those that cross state lines.
