With all the crap going on, I am not sure he would have wanted the Ped State job. BOOB was definitely not their top choice and they had to settle for him because no one wanted to deal with that crap!

I don't know if it'll work, but it's more of an effort than they made when they brought in Danny Hope. At least time they're going after somebody who has HC experience in a BCS conference.

If and when Tom Herman gets tabbed for a head coaching gig, I'd love to see Tedford get the nod as our new OC/QB Coach. He's not an Ohio guy, but does magic with QBs, is a pretty darn good play caller, and is good friends with Urban. Just throwing that out there.

Tedford has never run a read-option based offense, though. I don't know, maybe it's not that hard to adapt, but the two offenses are much different.
