Coaching changes: coaches hired and fired, comings and goings

Unexcusable for a Big Ten team to lose a head coach to an underwhelming ACC team... unless Purdue wanted a new head coach at the helm and let him walk. Purdue's got to have boat loads of cash to pay him more than Louisville ever will by being in the B1G

Yeah, trying to wrap my head around this one.

Some things aren't about money. Not only did he play for Louisville, he grew up there.

He's 51 years old and chose to go home to coach his alma mater. I don't think it's any more complicated than that.

Makes sense. I was thinking that he had that opportunity when he took the Purdue job, or right around that same timeframe.

Uh, please believe that all of these kids’ parents and coaches have seen Neon Deion, and have them watching all of his highlights and interviews on YouTube. Also, Deion was also an NFL analyst and has stayed active on social media and has had a reality show. Deion is not someone like Otto Graham Chuck Bednarik, teenagers still know Deion. And even more, they know his son, through football and social media as well.

He’s not just A Hall of Famer to even younger generations
Well, yeah, that plus the fact that he was born 40 to 45 years later than Otto Graham and Chuck Bednarik!
